Brake fluid retains the water and moisture from the atmosphere and can eventually cause corrosion in the brake system. Changing the fluid at least annually will prevent corrosion and allow for more effective brake operation
Check the battery terminals and that the voltage is at least 13 vdc. Ensure connections are clean and tight and the ground wire is well connected.
It's always cheaper to do it at home instead of in Daytona. Bring spares if you have them.
These little problems can easily turn into bigger problems down the road and cause you downtime in Daytona.
Ensure it is clean and well lubricated. Chains only last when you take care of them, not forever. A spare master link can get you home if the chain breaks and takes up little space.
