The Smoky Mountains bring a lot of Tourists to look at the trees changing colors. These Tourists are called "Leaf Lookers". Can skip this paragraph if you do not want to know WHY TREES CHANGE Colors:

Colors you see in leaves are all down to four pigments: chlorophylls(green), carotenoids(orange), xanthophylls(yellow) and anthocyanins(reds and purples). Trees are Green due to the Chlorophyll in the leaves. It is most abundant pigment in the leaf. The change in temperatures in fall causes the tree to stop producing chlorophyll and break down. Each species of tree makes it's own mixture of chlorophyll, cartenoids, xanthophylls, and anthocyanins, giving its particular colors in the fall. The Anthocyanin make leaves red and are mostly produced in the autumn. Other pigments may exist in the leaf or produced in fall.
